In summer the Damperiet’s wharf is a hive of activity. In the autumn Mother Nature invites you to pick berries and mushrooms, or go fishing on a tranquil lake. In winter, storms rage and the Northern Lights flicker, and that is when we light the fire and invite good friends for freshly caught cod and excellent wine. The spring air is fresh and clear, and a walk in the mountains will give you added energy and inspiration. This is the life! The five small fisherman’s cabins along the quayside tell the story of a time when the fishermen sought shelter from the storms and rough weather. The old timber walls, combined with exclusive bathrooms, new interior furnishings and the heat from the wood stove will make your stay a truly pleasurable one. At the Trandamperiet, your hosts guarantee a pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy your fish soup and locally made fare. Deep-sea rafting, fishing and hiking trips, photo and birdwatching safaris, sea kayaking and courses in wilderness techniques, are just some of our specialities. We rent out bicycles, kayaks and boats.
